What happens if you don’t sterilize it?

TheSausden says:

Don’t shake it. You don’t want the substance to hit the heating element or you will burn it. You want vaporisation, not combustion.

I’m surprised 7th Floor can sell their Silver Surfer vaporizer for $200+. How is the SSV that much better than one of these generic $50 “easy vape” type of units like the one you’re reviewing here?

As far as I can tell, the only real difference is the angle of the heating element. On the SSV the heating element is angled downwards. On this vape (and others like it), the heating element is angled upwards, a bad design choice as your weed will fall into the heating element and combust.

But you can fix this issue with the Easy Vape by tilting it forward. Better yet, cut a small block of wood into a triangle & attach it to the bottom of your Easy Vape (use velcro tape if you don’t want the mod to be permanent. This will fix your Easy Vape in the downward-tilted position (now you can use it just like you would use the Silver Surfer).

I know my questions are dumb, but just to make sure we’re using this correctly…1) if the contents in the container burn or light, does that mean it’s really not vamping, just burning? 2) when we exhale, should we see any smoke at all? Thanks in advance

David Torres says:

Can you replace the heating glass piece that is part of the unit if it breaks?

Macky Fermion says:

A refreshingly concise video, I love the old-school educational theme as well.

Rawm Garcia says:

i luvedt this video, i just think at the end you should tilt the herbs the other side so the flowers dont fall in the heating chamber 🙂

maticooli112 says:

i dindnt do the cleaning i just smoked out of it is it dangerous?

TVape says:

That is a good thought. But as soon as the unit stands in the default tilted position some of the botanical will fall back down. The purpose I had in mind is to make sure the hot air cant get around the ground blend. It will not get burned however, since the temperature can even get that high with this unit. In the end your personal preference of how to do things trumps any instruction :)….Thanks for sharing your method!

Nicolaas Bosma says:

what’s the worlds best hands free desktop vaporizer?

Eric Roessler says:

You NEVER!!! NEVER!!!!! tilt the vaporizer in that manor. By tilting the unit in that direction you are dropping the herb in to the heating element thus defeating the purpose of vaporizing. Now the proper way to this is to tilt the vaporizer forward in the direction of the whip. I like to prop my vaporizer from behind so that the heating element will remain level.

Jocelyn Hastings says:

This was a wonderfully concise review. Easy to understand and very helpful, as the unit didn’t come with assembly instructions. Thanks!

Parick Holmes says:

does it run on batteries or house power?
